AUGUST RENT CONCESSION

All tenancy agreements end at a date in June at the end of the academic year. For the following August there is a rent concession available to those students who:

have a tenancy agreement which continues into the next academic year and choose not to occupy their rooms during August.

Under these conditions, the rent for the August following the tenancy end day in June is halved and this means that: Half rent is payable in August Over a 12 month period this equates to a discount of 1/24 or 4.17%

However, if the student subsequently decides to move back in for all or part of August then the full rent for August becomes payable.
